Tokyo Century Received a Letter of Appreciation from Japan Rescue Association

  • Social

As part of its social contribution activities through the shareholder special benefit plan, Tokyo Century donates an amount equivalent to 2.5% of the total value of the shareholder incentives (Quo Cards: Prepaid cards) to the Japan Rescue Association (JRA), a certified nonprofit organization. For this activity, a letter of appreciation was presented to Tokyo Century by Mr. Oka, the director general of the JRA.

The JRA is an organization that trains and dispatches* disaster search dogs to search for people missing in earthquakes, typhoons, landslides, and other disasters. Our donation will fund the association’s activities.

*Dispatched in 2023 to support landslide disaster victims in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture (July), mountain searches in Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture (April), and landslide disaster victims in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture (January).

Tokyo Century will continue to strive to live in harmony with the local community through social contribution activities and to promote initiatives to realize a sustainable society.
