Tokyo Century Corporation recognized in the Large Enterprise Category of the 2018 Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program (White 500), consecutively from the establishment of Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program in 2017.

Under the recognition program designed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Nippon Kenko Kaigi examines large enterprises, SMEs and other organizations engaging in initiatives for overcoming health-related challenges in regional communities or for promoting health-conscious activities led by the Nippon Kenko Kaigi, and recognizes outstanding enterprises engaging in efforts for health and productivity management.

 

At Tokyo Century, in order to improve the rate of employees receiving regular physical examinations, the company continuously conducts such initiatives as having superiors notify subordinates who have not yet received a regular medical check-up and human resource executive officer reports the state of check-up rates at officer meetings. As a result of these efforts, the rate for the check-up has been 100% consecutively from fiscal 2014. Tokyo Century has been also promoting employees’ acquisitions of annual paid leave, and the acquisition rate reached 74% in fiscal 2016.
