Tokyo Century was selected for the Semi-Nadeshiko Brand 2022, which was conducted jointly by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (“METI”) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (“TSE”). The company received the designation for four consecutive years since 2019.

Prize-Winning Posters for the Global Warming Prevention COOL CHOICE Campaign
Tokyo Century Corporation (Tokyo Century), Kyocera Corporation (Kyocera), and Kyocera TCL Solar LLC (Kyocera TCL Solar), a joint venture established by Tokyo Century and Kyocera, have jointly sponsored a poster contest to promote a “raising awareness of global warming prevention COOL CHOICE” initiative, hosted by Shiga Prefecture’s Center for Climate Change Actions. In the event, winners of the poster contest were awarded. In addition, Kyocera TCL Solar started operating a mega-solar power plant on Yabasekihanto Island, Shiga, in November 2015. The company has allotted a part of electricity sales income generated through the power plant to support this event.

Tokyo Century Donated Disaster Stockpiles to Food Banks across Japan
Tokyo Century donated a set of disaster stockpiles for 1,274 people that had been stored at its head office in accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on Measures for Persons with Difficulty Returning Home to a total of eight food bank organizations nationwide through Kuradashi Co., Ltd., which operates the social contribution shopping site KURADASHI.

PT. Century Tokyo Leasing Indonesia (CTI) Delivered a Lecture on Financial Literacy for Elementary Students
PT. Century Tokyo Leasing Indonesia (CTI), Tokyo Century’s local subsidiary in Indonesia, constantly delivers financial literacy lectures initiated by OJK (Financial Services Authority of Indonesia), aiming to increase the literacy index and financial inclusion to the society.
In 2020, OJK launched some programs for students, especially for lower elementary students, such as: The Financial Literacy Book Series for an early age; and Launching of One Student One Bank Account.
In 2020, CTI held a financial literacy lecture with a topic, “Let’s talk About Money” for elementary school students.
