Health and Productivity Management: FY2026 TC Health Seminar on Menopause Care

  • Social

Under its Basic Policy on Health and Productivity Management, Tokyo Century fosters health awareness among executives and employees while creating a safe, secure, and vibrant workplace where every individual can thrive physically and mentally, unleashing their individuality and full potential. As part of these efforts, the Company held the FY2026 TC Health Seminar online for all executives and employees in July 2026.

Background: Fostering a Correct Understanding of Menopause, a Topic Relevant to Everyone
While menopause is often perceived as an issue specific to women, it is a stage anyone can face regardless of gender. Indeed, men can also experience effects due to declining male hormone levels from their 40s onward.

This year's seminar welcomed Ms. Azusa Kitahara, an occupational health nurse at Avenir Corporation, to deliver a lecture titled "Menopause: Early Preparation and Strategies for Overcoming It."

Key Topics Covered:

  • Various symptoms associated with menopause (such as sweating, mucosal changes, and forgetfulness) and daily risks
  • Actionable, preventive measures that can be integrated into daily habits, including diet, sleep, and exercise
  • Essential preparations and self-care concepts that individuals should know from a young age

Participant Feedback and Outcomes
A post-seminar survey revealed positive feedback, such as "The session was extremely beneficial for future preparation," "It inspired me to be more mindful of my partner and team members," and "It prompted me to visit a gynecologist." The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for each officer and employee to deepen their understanding of personal healthcare and support for those around them.

Additionally, an archived recording was made available for those unable to attend on the day, further promoting company-wide health literacy.

Message from the Lecturer (Ms. Azusa Kitahara, Occupational Health Nurse at Avenir Corporation):
"Menopause is a natural life stage that everyone experiences. It is vital to learn about menopause from a young age, recognize the signs when experiencing physical or mental changes, and manage them effectively. I hope this seminar serves as an opportunity for participants to pay attention to their mind and body, helping them continue to work healthily and happily."

Tokyo Century will continue to position health management as a critical business priority. The Company remains dedicated to promoting the health of its executives, employees, and their families, while contributing to the healthy development of the entire supply chain, including customers and business partners.
