Companies selected for the list must meet international criteria in fields such as environmental sustainability, human rights, satisfactory supply chain labor standards, and corruption prevention. The index is seen as an important source for making decisions when SRI funds and others select companies to invest in. Tokyo Century has also been selected for the JPX-Nikkei Index 400, an index comprised of companies highly attractive to investors and which have passed global investment standards such as an ROE which demonstrates capital efficiency. Further, in May 2018, we were selected for the fourth year in a row as a Competitive IT Strategy Company, an initiative promoted jointly by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
